Privacy Notice

This notice explains how we collect and use personal data when you visit tornado-boats.eu, contact us, join the Tornado community, use your Tornado page or portal, or buy a Tornado boat. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portuguese data protection law.

1. Who we are

Divexpro, Lda., which builds and sells Tornado Boats, is the controller of your personal data.

For anything about your data, write to mail@divexpro.com. We answer within one month.

2. What we collect

Contact details: name, company, email, phone, country.
Your requests: messages, the boats and options you configure, quotes and orders.
Community preferences: whether you own a Tornado, plan to buy one or simply like them, and your consent to receive our emails.
Network and portal data: for owners, dealers and partners, the details of your Tornado page, your boats and their documents, and sign-in records.
Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, as described in our Cookie Policy.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

To answer your enquiry and prepare quotes: steps you ask for before a contract.
To build, deliver and support your boat: performance of the contract.
To run the dealer and partner network: our contract with the dealer or partner, and our legitimate interest in a reliable network.
To send Tornado news, new boats and events by email: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
To keep invoices and accounting records: legal obligation.
To keep the site secure and understand how it is used: our legitimate interest, and your consent where cookies require it.

4. Emails from the Tornado community

If you join the Tornado community, we send a few emails a year about new boats, sea trials, owners’ stories and events. We never sell your email or pass it on for anyone else’s marketing. To stop them, reply to any of our emails or write to mail@divexpro.com, and we remove you.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only when needed with:

Service providers who host our website and email and carry our messages, under contracts that bind them to our instructions.
Your Tornado dealer or partner, when you ask for a quote through them or buy through them.
Carriers, certification bodies and authorities, when a delivery, a CE certificate or the law requires it.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Some providers may process data outside the European Union. For example, if you write to us on WhatsApp, your messages pass through Meta Platforms in the United States. Such transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a sale: 3 years after our last contact.
Customers and their boats: for as long as we support the boat, and invoices for the 10 years Portuguese law requires.
Community emails: until you ask to leave.
Dealer and partner pages: while the relationship lasts, and 1 year after it ends.
Technical logs: up to 12 months.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting what was done before. Write to mail@divexpro.com.

You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at cnpd.pt.

9. Security

Access to personal data is limited to the people who need it. Sign-in to Tornado pages and the portal uses one-time codes or links sent to your email, never a password we store.

10. Changes

When this notice changes, the new version is published on this page with its date.
