Commercial RIB Boats

Tornado commercial RIBs are working boats. Dive support, crew and pilot transfer, survey, aquaculture and harbour work all put the same demands on a hull: it goes out on a schedule rather than on a forecast, it carries people and equipment, and it comes alongside other vessels several times a day.

The construction answers that directly. The deep-V hull keeps impact controlled and behaviour predictable when the sea state is not a choice. Tubes are thermowelded polyurethane rather than glued, and anti-slip boarding panels run along the top of the tube where crew stand, board and work. Rubbing strakes and reinforcement are bonded over the tube, which is where contact with quaysides and other hulls actually happens.

Every hull is built to order in Peniche, Portugal. Console, seating, deck layout and equipment are specified for the job rather than chosen from a fixed list, and each model carries its own CE category and load figures.
