Rescue RIB Boats

Tornado rescue RIBs are built for craft that leave harbour when everything else is coming back in. The same deep-V hull, thermowelded polyurethane tubes and open working deck used across the Tornado range, specified for crews who work from the boat rather than sit in it.

Rescue work punishes a hull in ways recreational use never does: repeated launches, contact with other vessels and casualties recovered over the tube. Construction is chosen for that. Tubes are thermowelded rather than glued at the seam, rubbing strakes and reinforcement are bonded over the top, and anti-slip boarding panels run the length of the tube where crew board and work.

Every hull is built to order in Peniche, Portugal. Layout, console, seating and equipment are specified per operation rather than picked from a fixed list, and each model carries its own CE category and load figures.
